Description of Research Projects:
I am broadly interested in studying the neural activity underlying complex behaviours. My particular focus has been investigating the neural correlates of long- and short-term memory, attention, and decision-making. I currently work on projects aimed at understanding the dynamics of neuronal activity and neurotransmitter binding, measured via fiber photometry, during touchscreen-based behaviour tests of attention and decision-making under both healthy conditions and in mouse models of neurodegeneration.
